Accessing the Website is subject to complete acceptance of and respect for the following Conditions of Use by Internet users.
The Internet user agrees henceforth to make personal and not commercial use of the information contained on the Website. Failure by the Internet user to comply with the provisions of these Legal Notices, may result in his/her civil and/or criminal liability.
By using the Website, the Internet user agrees to and accepts this Conditions of Use contract, which binds him/her to ABVENT. In the event of failure to comply with this Contract, it is the Internet user’s sole responsibility to no longer use nor access the Website or its associated services.
ABVENT reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify at any time, in part or in full, the provisions of this Contract. These changes will be effective immediately after Member notification and publication of these changes on the Website. Accessing the Website after these changes and after notification, implies full agreement and unconditional acceptance of this Contract, as amended by the notified changes. In the event of failure to comply with this Contract and its changes, it is the Internet user’s sole responsibility to no longer use nor access the Website or its associated services.
The Website is operated by ABVENT.
It offers various Internet services in connection with the training provided by ABVENT of ArchiCAD and BIMoffice softwares.
The various services are offered as a free access but requires prior registration on the site and acceptance of our Terms of Use.
The Website is an original work of which ABVENT is the author within the meaning of articles L111.1 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code. ABVENT is a registered trademark under the number 09 3 661 702, dated 20th July 2009. Any reproduction, use or affixing of the aforementioned trademark without the express consent of ABVENT SA is prohibited, in accordance with the provisions set out in article L713-2 of the French Intellectual Property Code.
It must be noted that the photographs and/or texts present on the Website, all sound, images, videos, slideshows, programs, and corporate identity are considered to be intellectual work and are protected by copyright law. Any unauthorized use of one or more of the photographs constitutes an act of infringement as set out in article L335-3 of the French Intellectual Property Code.
As a rule, data, programs, samples of music, texts, information, logos, visual identities, still and animated images and their layout on the Website are the property of ABVENT and are thus protected by the provisions of the French Intellectual Property Code. The Internet user undertakes to not use them and to not allow anyone whomsoever to use the said content for illegal purposes.
Any representation or reproduction in whole or in part, whether permanent or temporary, on an electronic medium and/or on paper, and through any form (particularly that of framing*) of one or more elements of the Website, without the prior and express consent of ABVENT SA is prohibited, and constitutes an act of infringement, which may give rise to civil and/or penal proceedings. Only printing out pages for exclusive personal use by the User is permitted within the meaning of article L122-5 2° of the French Intellectual Property Code.
No hypertext links to the Website may be set up without the prior and express consent of ABVENT SA.
*the act of capturing the content of website pages to transfer them to another website via a hypertext link, and publishing the content as the site’s own.
The internet user may be called upon to enter certain personal data by filling in the provided forms. Entering this data is required by ABVENT in order to complete the Internet user’s request.
ABVENT agrees to comply with the provisions set out in French law n°78-17 dated 6th January 1978 relating to Information Technology, Files and Civil Liberties, as amended, and will take all necessary measures to ensure the privacy and security of personal information entrusted to us. No personal information will be given to third parties without the prior and enlightened consent of the Internet user.
The Internet user can, at any time, exercise his/her right to access, change, delete or object to information which he/she provided on registering or later with ABVENT SA, by post to: ABVENT; 58, rue Saint Lazare ; 75009, Paris, France.
ABVENT may use cookies. A cookie does not enable an Internet user to be identified. It creates a random number, which records information relating to the computer’s search on the Website and the contracts subscribed to by the Internet user. The information is kept for a period of 60 days from the date of subscription.
The aim of cookies is to allow faster and easier recognition of the Internet user. It is no longer necessary to obtain prior consent from the Internet user before their implementation.
The Internet user can, however, stop cookies being implemented by modifying his/her Internet browser and using the relevant procedures specific to the browser.
ABVENT accepts no liability for any malfunctions that may occur on the Website arising in a loss of data or loss of access to data as a result of these malfunctions.
The elements presented on the Website are subject to change without prior warning and are made available to Internet users, without any express or tacit guarantee.
The presence of hypertext links that appear on the Website – regardless of whether ABVENT has granted its prior consent or not – does not create joint liability between ABVENT and the owners of the other sites, with regards to the content of the sites the Internet user is redirected to.
ABVENT cannot guarantee the accuracy and veracity of the information on this Website. Similarly, it cannot guarantee the absence of modifications by a third party (data breach, virus).
Additionally, the Internet user is solely responsible for the use he/she makes of the Website content. Except in the event of gross misconduct by ABVENT, the latter’s liability cannot be invoked in the event of direct or indirect damage relating to the use of information produced on the Website.
All the information posted on the Website and the use made of it is subject exclusively to French law. Only courts that fall under the jurisdiction of the Paris Court of Appeal are alone competent to deal with any litigation arising from use of the Website.
